The process for making my project
For my project to record my audio I used the voice memos app on my phone. To edit my podcast together I used SoundTrap. It was a bit confusing at first but once I understood all the features of it I was able to efficiently edit my short podcast together. I had a lot of fun connecting all my audio clips together to form this podcast. For my image I used Microsoft Copilot AI. I asked it take create an image of a book with fantasy elements coming out of it.

Intro music
Stephanie Garber is a young adult author who wrote the Caraval trilogy and the Once Upon a Broken Heart trilogy.
Caraval was Stephanie Garbers first ever published book. It’s about two sisters, Scarlett and Donatella Dragna, who travel to a mysterious island to participate in Master Legends game known as Caraval. They meet a sailor named Julian who travels with them to the Caraval island. Once they arrive Donatella goes missing and Scarlett and Julian have to work together to complete the challenges that are a part of the game to get her back.

Legendary is the second book in the series and it is told from Donatella and Legends point of view. It’s about Donatella trying to reconnect with Master Legend and discover his hidden secrets. In this world there are fates that live along with the normal humans. The more dangerous fates are locked in a deck of cards. During the finale book in the trilogy, Finale, the fates get released from the cards and try to take revenge on the world. Donatella, Scarlett, Julien, and Legend have to work to capture these fates and save the world.
Stephanie Garber released the Caraval trilogy between 2016 and 2020. She then released the Once upon a broken heart trilogy between 2021 and 2023. At the end of 2023 she announced she would be returning the the Caraval world and releasing a novella called Spectacular.
Spectacular is about Scarlett hosting a holiday party and how everyone prepares for it. I am predicting it will be about how Scarlett and Julian prepare for the evening while Donatella searches to find a way to make Legend reappear so she can discover more of his secrets.
Stephanie Garber is an amazing author and I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet her on several occasions. Her dedication and passion for writing is something I look up to and I am excited for the release of Spectacular on October 22nd.
